Be Happy - It costs Nothing!!!

"Inner peace is impossible without patience. Spiritual growth implies the mastery of patience, patience allows the unfolding of destiny to proceed at its own unhurried pace." - Dr. Brian Weiss

Everything happens for a reason and the reasons are best described in our KARMAs. The year that passed by brought me closer to an understanding of our existences, the journey of the “SOUL”, to rise above the futility of “Body Consciousness”. All that is happening to me today is the result of my past KARMAs, in this life and the several past lives the SOUL has been to.

Life might be filled with difficult relationships, practically impossible people and obstacles. But trust me; it can be endured with Patience, Love and understanding.

Beginning this year, I had the opportunity to go abroad, study and earn a fat pay packet. But given the situation and the lessons life taught me, I knew Money can't buy happiness, at least not the one I seek.. :)

So if staying in my country, among my people, my family, few truly caring lovely friends and beautiful charming relationships gave me happiness that is what I would do. Here’s a bunch of all those things that make me feel extremely happy and content.
  • Cuddle my Father and be caressed by him.
  • Talk to my Darling Sister for hours together and giggle and laugh until my stomach hurts.
  • Put on my Mother’s Shawl and still feel her fragrance J
  • Talk to my nephew and my niece, they sometimes tell things so innocent I get carried away J
  • Talking to Old friends, remembering and laughing at all the crazy things done together.
  •  Listen to my favorite songs while sipping Hot Masala Tea on a Rainy day.
  •  Watch the Sunrise, feeling the fresh air on a morning.
  • Fall in Love with that “Zsa-Zsa-Zsu” feeling (yet to experience it truly) ;)
  • Feel butterflies in the stomach knowing that something beautiful is about to happen!
  • Make new friends.
  • Walk along the beach on an evening.
  • Be happy knowing that something very good has happened to someone I really care about.

My list is endless and I can go on and on and on. Life is much more than what we perceive it is.
Happiness is right there waiting for us. We only need to open our arms and let it come in.

With Love,
Megha S.

  1. yes, life is indeed special...there are problems in everyone's life, and many times we are so focused on our problems that we overlook such little gems of happiness. there's a lot of love and warmth in your list...but, personally, i would add one more thing to the list for sure- i experience bliss everytime i eat tasty food:)

    1. Yes, delicious mouth watering food - I think that it's one trait we've all inherited from our Mighty Land :) :)
I am a big time foodie too. It's my stress buster. All this while I had heard, "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach". I guess I am one of the few girls who fit into this..

Sahi kaha aapne barish ki boondon me jo khusi hai wo jindagi me chintaon ki chhatri hata kar hi milti hai... Koshish karunga mai bhi jee sakun aise hi humesha...
